The 2020 Leadership Summit

At the Sports Facilities Companies, one of the most exciting times of the year is when our team gathers to celebrate the accomplishments of the previous year. And while 2020 forced us to do things differently, this year’s Leadership Summit showcased how hard work, innovation, leadership, and a commitment to excellence can make an enduring impact, both nationally and within our office.

The 2020 Leadership Summit, which took place virtually for the first time, is our annual meeting in which SFM Network venue leaders and members of our home office staff gather to discuss company initiatives and best practices. While both are critical to fulfilling our mission, the highlight of this event is honoring excellence among our venue and home office teams.

This year’s award winners represent a diverse group of individuals and roles. Many of them faced tremendous adversity over the course of the year. All of them showed a willingness to bring extraordinary effort and leadership to their craft. We are tremendously proud of each individual and team on this list and look forward to the ways in which they will continue to move the needle for our company and industry.

ABOUT CAITLYN

Caitlyn is from South New Jersey and came to the Tampa Bay Area in 2013. Her background is a versatile combination of hospitality, education, medical, and retail experience. She began her path in HR almost 4 years ago with a focus on recruitment in various industries. Caitlyn is a people person who loves connecting and helping others.

She enjoys the long summers of Florida in the outdoors gardening at home and hanging out at the beach.

Elizabethtown Sports Park

Sports Facilities Management assessed all aspects of Elizabethtown’s (KY) existing sports and recreation assets, particularly the E-Town Sports Park and made recommendations of best practices for driving economic impact through events, tournaments, and recreation programming.
