It’s been proven. Kids who engage in physical activity do better in life and so do their families, but fewer than half of children ages 6 to 11 meet the U.S. Surgeon General’s recommendation for engaging in at least 60 minutes of moderate physical activity most days of the week.
Too many kids and families are getting pushed out of today’s competitive “pay-to-play” sports model. There are kids who don’t get to play sports simply because they can’t afford it.
